Hint of the week
For wasp stings - wring out some cotton woll in vinegar and hold it on the area for some time. If stung in the mouth give ice cubes to suck. Helps to keep down the swelling.

I don't have a pretty kitchen - any photos I take of food has to have the rusty old stove or cracked bench tops removed before I can put it up online. If you have a pretty k itchen and use any of these recipes PLEASE take a good photo of it and send it to me for use on the website (high res so I can reduce it to suit the site) you will receive back one recipe that hasn't yet been put on the website before anyone else sees it! Please note...
I'm in Australia, if you don't know what an ingredient is, please ask. The book was written - I'm not sure when, but I'm certain it was a copy of earlier books as they wore out, certainly a lot of it would have been in the 1920's onwards, that being when she was married. The measurements in the book are mixed, but I'll try to remember to convert all measurements and give both imperial and metric. If I forget, please don't hesitate to let me know!
